Early voting for the run off in the DA and the railroad commissioner's

race has been going on in Austin this week. I went in to the new Hill

Country Galleria early voting location to cast my Lehmberg-Henry vote

(after much deliberation - I'm a big Greg Hamilton fan and almost voted

for Montford because of his endorsement. But I've made a personal vow

to no longer vote based off of endorsements. I'll leave you to

speculate as to why.)



Me to the Registrar: "How's the turnout?"

Registrar: "Not many people come in." (English was not her first

language)

Me: "Oh? Slow? Run-off's not as exciting as the primary, huh."

Registrar: "I think most people, they just practicing."
