It's not my party but I'll cry if I want to.

I've decided to shanghai cross-promote the Burnt Orange Report anniversary bash by choosing to celebrate my 24th birthday tomorrow night at their party at Sholz's (eh, Lee? I'm a quick learner they always said). I figured the best birthday present to myself would be lurking around politicians on a Thursday night while clutching my Hefeweizen in one hand and a camera in the other.

Burnt Orange Report Turns 5!
Come Celebrate our 5th Anniversary

When: Thursday April 24th, 8p.m. until the music stops
Where: Scholz Beer Garden (map)

Music by the Bad Precedents - Rep. Jim Dunnam's band!

TexBlog PAC will announce its first endorsed candidate -- come meet the candidate, hear from our elected officials, and enjoy!

If you're around and for some reason not one of the people who I invited on Facebook (my friend Class told me she would never go to a birthday party where she only read about it on a blog...the girl has a point, that's why she's Class), feel free to stop by.

Also will someone please, please remind me at about 11 PM tomorrow that on Friday after work I am immediately driving to New Orleans with Cashmoney to see Billy Joel...and I might need to pack for that little adventure? I will try to deny it but do not listen to me. Packing must happen. Won't be happening tonight. Stupid deadlines.

I can't wait to hear "OHHH Dallas Morning News is here to cover our party, what?!? They are here to take pictures of MR's CAR?!?!? WTF?!?!?"

  • Mean Rachel Says:

$4: so how does it feel to be worth $4?

  • Lee Says:

Um ... yes, I "c" what you mean.

C'mon Rachel, surely you can book better music for your party than Jim Dunnam! ;-)

  • Mean Rachel Says:

    lee: heh. yes!

I want Jim Dunnam to give my eulogy. And that Tommy Tynes is pretty cute. Plus Billy Joel's resting up for Saturday, so he couldn't make it.
