1. I can have a lucid dream. This morning my alarm went off and I hit the snooze button. I immediately fell into a dream about boot camp. I realized this and decided to make ice all over the ground. The instructor yelled, "Boot camp's canceled!" and we all marched over to a nameless coffee shop and ate scones. It was fantastic.

2. I work well in pajamas. I got quite a bit done today.

3. It was possible for me to hate Katie Holmes even more. Has anyone seen First Daughter? Keep it that way.

4. My Texas pride is alive and well. I can't tell you how many times I had to defend the Southern way of not leaving the house at the mere mention of ice. "Yes, Mr. Smith, but the way I see it is everyone else is crazy to go out in this kind of weather. Texans have the right idea and stay indoors."
